Creating Reports from PrivateLabelReports.com
Short reports on a niche topic offer you a lot of flexibility in how to use them. As I've explained in this project, you can use these reports as content for your websites, or create an autoresponder course around them for list-building, or you can even provide them as an added bonus to one of your products.
Most reports are 4-6 pages long ¨C around the length of 3-5 articles. This allows you to provide more ‘in-depth' topic coverage, which is very useful if you're looking to generate leads / build a list.
Step 1 ¨C Select Reports
Go to PrivateLabelReports.com and select a group of reports based on the topic you need content on.
If you want to start or update a website using reports, you should:
When you're picking a topic, remember to do some quick research on the options available to you. What sort of products can you sell in this niche? Are there any affiliate programs that you can promote? Is there scope for further growth in this niche i.e. can you branch out from the affiliate model to producing your products?
These are all questions you should ask yourself before picking a topic. Make sure to do some research on the available affiliate programs/products in the niche that you are interested in.
Step 2 ¨C Customize Reports
To customize reports, you have to do the following:
Use the ¡°customize articles guidelines on creating unique reports.
Insert your own website's URL and other personal information.
Insert your own affiliate links.
This last step is very important ¨C whether you are providing these reports for free, converting them into articles or giving them away as bonuses with your pr
oducts, these affiliate links will be your key to long-term, passive income.
For more information on customizing the text of the reports, see ¡°How To: Customize Articles .
Step 3 ¨C Convert Your Reports to PDF
Once your reports are customized, it's a pretty simple process to convert them into PDF. Most of you will already have the tools necessary to do this. If not, you can try PrimoPDF or PDF995 ¨C both are free and give you most of the functionality that Adobe Acrobat (paid), provides.
If you're planning to create a mini-course using your reports, you should still create PDFs. I've explained this a bit further in Project #6, which is all about mini-courses.
Step 4 ¨C Use graphics
Each report pack comes with multiple reports and graphics for each report. Whatever you use the reports for, you can easily use these professional graphics to increase the perceived value of your reports.
This strategy works well both with mini-courses (put the graphic on your opt-in page) and with bonuses (use the graphic like you would use an e-book cover or software product graphic).
Option 1 ¨C Reports as Content
Looking for more content on your website? Simply break up the new ¡°customized reports into articles and post them on to your website (see Projects #1 and #2 for more on this).
Also, make sure that you put AdSense / your own ads on the new article pages as well.
Option 2 ¨C Reports as Mini-Courses
If you want to use the reports as part of a mini-course to build an opt-in list, see Project #6 for more details.
Option 3 ¨C Reports as Bonuses
If you already have a product that belongs to the niche of one of the report packs, you can simply follow the steps in this Project and provide those reports as a bonus. If you have a website / list around the niche, you can also try selling the reports (as one pack) ¨C but make sure you fully customize them first.
Option 4 ¨C Reports as List-Building Tools
One more strategy to use with reports is to place them on your website as free resources and use them to build your list of subscribers. This works in conjunction with the mini-course approach as well.
