But it is not the headline alone that has to be catchy. The first paragraph itself has to lure readers into not putting down the publication until the last word has been read. Thus, the flow of ideas should be consistent and jam-packed all throughout the publication. Be sure to insert the list of tips and pointers accordingly.

But no reader likes to read a press release that is very long. It would be better to just limit your press release to just a single page. Should you go beyond a page, then a couple pages at the most should be sufficient. Also, you should word the trend list in such a way that the readers would be left wanting more. This way, you would actually be prodding your readers to check out your website for more tips, pointers, and such. Make sure your content has no grammatical errors whatsoever because there are so many readers who are very particular about such errors.

You should also send your press release to a particular reporter or desk editor. Be sure to get the name and contact information of the reporter or editor for future reference. Once the press release has been sent, make sure to be available just in case the reporter or editor would need to contact you for additional information. If you are not available, your press release just might be kicked to the curb. With an effective press release, you would indeed be receiving quality publicity for your business in no time at all.
