What if your customer become your advocate?
"Customer is God" Quoted by Konosuke Matsushita, founder of Matsushita Electric Corporation in Japan. People enchanted about this statement but seems to be a blind aspect which has come long way. But the question is "Do the customers are really part of making the products"
The truth is they use the product which the company give it to them and educate them about the product. As there are lots of options available in the market they choose their product, after all they are the owners.
Customer is like a new born baby who sees the world in same manner, the way it is pictured to them. So it's not the product which is decided by the customer but it is the promotional activity, Selection of client for the respective product, & the needy where the product is launched.
The promotional activity touching people's feeling gives more outcomes. The ads such as L'Oreal, where the words are made in such a manner that a woman feels greater by having that product. The words "After all you are one in million" relating to a pearl, brings out self confidence of each women in the country.
Hmmm…. This is the best example for the customer who believes in what company says. Customer is King not by himself but by the companies. To do a successful business & retain in the market for longer period, the company's focuses on future client and educate the people where the product is necessary.
What do your customers say about your business? You work hard to make them happy, so you guess its good. But what if you could turn every customer into an advocate for your business ? Today's businesses demand the "Word of mouth" policy.
This would be a wider publicity in current business market than any other mode of advertisements.

However, whether the goal of the company is maintaining its market position or improving it, flawless execution is a must. The advertisement of the product is an important event to justify the product in the market. The company need to think longterm rather than solving tiny or each problem of the customers & fall into short term benefits.
As said in Chinese proverb:
If you are planning survival for a year, Sow paddy.
If you are planning survival for a decade, Plant a tree.
If you are planning survival for life time, Educate people.
